Ruptured & Herniated Discs
Disc herniations occur when a small portion of the disc ruptures (breaks off) and
pushes on the nerves. Small herniations are sometimes called bulges and protrusions. Cervical Herniated Discs can cause discomfort, such as shooting pains, weakness, and numbness down one or both arms, frequently down to the hand. Lumbar Herniated Discs can cause discomfort, such as shooting pains, weakness, and/or numbness in one of the legs, frequently down to the ankle or foot. |
